  • May 2 Eric Friend of the Wellspring / Karitas Foundation oversees the work at ALEM. The foundation is a non-profit organization whose major focus of work is in Cuernavaca Mexico . The ALEM project is a workshop for persons with disabilities who design and fabricate custom wheelchairs and recumbent tricycles and also offers urgently needed wheelchair repair services

  • May 9 Dr. Tara Macatee, Director of Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, on "Serving individuals with special needs"

  • May 16 Mary-Beth Lydon, Mosaic Land Trust in Pottstown: provides permanently affordable housing and healthy living choices to people of modest means, and through education and participation, creates a vital community with a focus on arts and culture to stabilize neighborhoods and improve the quality of life in Pottstown.

  • June 6th Deepak gave a first class overview of the RI conference in Thailand, using photos and materials he had put together from the convention. Thailand certainly gave a smiling face and a rich cultural experience to RI participants Deepak noted that there were over 30,000 delegates from all over the world and highlighted some of the truly philanthropic things that RI is doing. Some of those he spoke about were: the fight against Child and World Slavery, against Hunger, against Alzheimer's, against Poverty.
